Christmas Party....4 year old style!

Remember Christmas as a child...the fun and excitement of shredding the wrapping paper?? This year, at Todd's Pre-K party, they had a book exchange. He was quite upset to open his book and find it to be a GIRLY Cinderella book!!! OH the nerve!! He didn't even get it opened all the way before throwing it on the floor, crossing his arms and pouting! Thankfully, another little girl with a Thomas the Train Book (Todd's favorite) traded with him and all was good! Such drama as a 4 year old!! :-)

Courage...

Todd was invited to a friend's birthday party at a gymnastics place. It took him several, frustrating tries to be able to jump across an opening onto the trampoline. Once he did it, he was SO proud of himself and ended up wearing himself out! LOL

In the Big Band!

Brady joined the middle school band this year, playing the trumpet! He auditioned and got first chair!! He's doing really well and sounds pretty good. These pictures are from his recent Christmas concert.

SOOOOO grown up!!!

Remember doing this???

Don't you remember making "olive fingers" every Thanksgiving? My friend Louise reminded me of this tradition a couple of years ago, so now Jansen is continuing the tradition! :-)

LOTS going on!

Well...I was informed that I needed to do an update!! So, here I am! Its Christmas time and I'm stressing over gift buying and making sure there are enough "Santa" presents for everyone. I've been making purse after purse and selling them at Todd Michael's daycare...lots of work, but worth it!

I spent some time over Thanksgiving with my friends from Arkansas. Here is a picture of me and Johnna! Of course that is a scrapbooking store in the background!! I'm still scrapping (when I have time) and trying to preserve pictures of my parents, grandparents and great-grandparents that my mom gave me.

The boys are getting bigger by the second and smarter than ever! Jansen won 2nd place in the Science Fair at school 2 weeks ago. His project was called "Gel-Know?" We wanted to see if Jell-O would still gel if we substituted the water with soda, orange juice or milk! Unbelievably, they all gelled! It was pretty gross though! :-P

Todd is still doing great in Pre-K. He is beginning to read little words and knows how to write his name!!! Where did my baby go?? :-(

I'm off now to Jansen's school to enjoy a yummy plate of school lunch turkey!! Gotta love the holidays!! :-)
